"Tezcuco Plantation"   From an original etching by Robert Seago.
Tezcuco Plantation (circa 1860) lies on the east bank of the Mississippi River near Houmas House and is open to the public. This charming smaller plantation house is known for its fine collection of rosewood and mahogany furniture. Surrounded by native vegetation and beautiful live oaks, it epitomizes the magic of the Louisiana landscape.   [text from back of card]
