"Oak Alley Plantation" (in black & white) From an original etching by Robert Seago.
Oak Alley Plantation, built in 1832, represents a Louisiana Classic style of architecture. Its 300 yards of ancient oaks frame the plantation with their splendid arch. In 1925, Oak Alley became the first of the great plantations to be completely restored. Today, it is opened to the public for tours. Also, visitors can enjoy a stay at the bed and breakfast facility on its grounds and dining at its wonderful restaurant which serves many Creole dishes. [text from back of card]
